Modernised 70's House

Our clients brief was to create a new modern family home and substantially increase the space.

We placed one of our known Architects with our client and worked in conjunction to bring about a dramatic transformation. By understanding our client’s requirements we were able to assist with material selections, finishes, swimming pool design, interior layouts working closely with the Architect and client to bring this project together.

A new lower ground floor was excavated, rear garden landscaped, swimming pool constructed, the roof space converted and a two storey rear extension added; all together doubling the size of the original house. 

The large central staircase, created following an initial brief, offers an open and elegant space that is a stunning feature of the house. This was bespoke made on site along with various cabinets, kitchen and wardrobes.

A truly fabulous home has now been created that links well with the outside terrace, swimming pool and balcony.

This project has received a Sussex Heritage Award and a RIBA Award, featuring in their yearly publication.
